Outfit of the Day: Nigerian Independence Day 🇳🇬

It’s October 1st, and you know what that means…it’s Nigerian Independence Day! I’ve talked several times before about my culture and how proud I am of where I come from.  So it’s a no brainer that when the day came to celebrate Nigeria’s liberation, I had to show up and show out.

I was really perplexed on what to wear, because although I  wanted to look good, I was concerned that I didn’t have the tools to do so. But as usual, Mama Okoli came through and provided me with a slew of options to wear to help achieve my vision. I loved the length of this blue Ankara as well as how rich it looked against my skin. Even though my countries’ colors are green and white, I felt like this blue gown couldn’t have given me a better outlook.
